About the Diva Herself

Born in Los Angeles, Wedding and Event Planner Extraordinaire La Shawn Denise Witt began her career in special events with Loyola Marymount University, and soon fell in love with the event planning aspects of her job. In 1999, she decided to venture out on her own and open Divine Diva Events, Inc. It was her dream to provide clients with quality event planning that they could trust at an affordable rate. After working in the event industry for the past 16 years, she has established a reputation of being dependable and trustworthy, has produced over 650 events, and maintains working relationships with many of Los Angeles’s top event industry professionals.

Outside of event designing La Shawn indulges in her passions of shopping, traveling, reading and enjoying time with the loves of her life, daughter Morgan and Shih Tzus Dolce & Gabbana.

La Shawn is an event scholar that makes sure all of her events shine and the guests go home wanting more.
